Dave Markwell

Went to McKendree University where he was a
four-year letter winner in baseball and played
two years on the basketball team
Led Beecher High School to a runner-up finish
in the Class-A state baseball tournament and was
named Coach of the Year (1983)
As wrestling coach at Oakwood High School
won 305 matches in 21 seasons…9 conference
championships…11 county crowns…and 8
regional titles
Coached 26 state qualifiers, 7 state place-winners
and one high school All-American
