in his junior and senior seasons (1955 & 1956)
- At Denver U. won Mountain State Conference
High Jump and was an NCAA All-American
- Coached Big 12 titles in cross country
and golf at Danville High School
- Founding member of Danville Junior College
with fully-funded scholarship in his name
- Mr. Dickson passed in 2008
